5 Things Donald Trump Said In His Inaugural Speech That Should Have World Leaders Worried

Donald Trump on Friday, January 20 formally became the 45th US President after taking his oath of office at Washington D.C.
He has been known as a man that talks tough not minding whose ox is gored, well he delivered once again in his inaugural speech and made it clear his agenda was all about protecting American interest.
Below are 5 major highlights of his speech that might have other world leaders worried as compiled by PREMIUM TIMES
1. Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs, will be made to benefit American workers and American families. We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies, and destroying our jobs.
2. We will get our people off of welfare and back to work — rebuilding our country with American hands and American labor. We will follow two simple rules: Buy American and hire American.
3. For many decades, we’ve enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry; subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military; we’ve defended other nation’s borders while refusing to defend our own; and spent trillions of dollars overseas while America’s infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay.
4. We will reinforce old alliances and form new ones — and unite the civilized world against radical Islamic terrorism, which we will eradicate completely from the face of the Earth.
5. We’ve made other countries rich while the wealth, strength, and confidence of our country has disappeared over the horizon. The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed across the entire world.

According to human rights lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, Anambra Broadcasting Service has returned ex-miss Anambra Chidinma Okeke's car to her, and was made to sign an undertaking that she would not grant interviews as to how/why the car was returned.

Ugwuone released a statement to the effect which says:
"BREAKING NEWS!
ANAMBRA BROADCASTING SERVICE (ABA) HAS RETURNED THE PRIZE CAR TO CHIDINMA OKEKE WITH CONDITIONS
The Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) yesterday returned the prize vehicle to the former Anambra Beauty Queen and made her sign an undertaking that she would not grant press interviews or reveal that the circumstances under which the prize car was returned to her. The threatened to have her detained if she breached that undertaking.
From one of the ABS insiders, the Management of ABS took this measure in order to stop Chidinma from continuing as Government witness in the criminal case going on in Lagos. The ABS wants to suppress the ongoing case because their were involved in the making and leak of the video. If the case were to go on, the accused person will reveal the truth. They met with Ms. Okeke without her lawyer. They told her that nobody was allowed to come for the meeting except her parents.

It is clear that Anambara State Government is behind this whole show of shame. They are doing everything to kill the case. Indeed, the DSS refused to make available to Chidinma and her lawyer the outcome of their investigation of the case explicitly because of the involvement of some Government officials in the scandal, particularly the Director of the ABS.
More updates will be coming your way. But as we warned months, those who think that the Chidinma Okeke's case would die quietly are joking. In fact, even Chidinma Okeke cannot stop this story. We have sufficient insider sources in Anambra State.
NOTE: The prize car was one of the prize award given to Chidima Okeke for winning the Beauty Pageantry for the year. The picture of the car and a ceremony is shown here. It is not yet clear what Chidinma plans to do about this development. But the pressure for her to keep quiet is high and Nigerians must not allow that to happen."

Buhari not dead - Presidency

Image result for President buhariThere was consternation in several quarters in Abuja and beyond over the weekend as rumours circulated that President Muhammadu Buhari had passed on at a London hospital where he was said to be receiving treatment.
As the day wore on, the rumours gained ground after a news website published a story that the President was dead. The rumour soon spread like wild fire in different parts of the country with many Nigerians making frantic phone calls to ascertain the story’s accuracy.
The presidency however said on Saturday that there was no truth in the news.
Buhari had on Thursday travelled to London, United Kingdom, after writing to the National Assembly that he would be proceeding on a vacation and that Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo would be performing the duties of the President while he was away.
“The report is hogwash,” the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, simply said when our correspondent contacted him.
Adesina also denied the report on his Twitter handle, praying for those behind it to repent.
“Best wishes to all who wish PMB well. As for those who carry evil rumours, may they receive grace to repent,” he said.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, also took to his Twitter handle to deny the report.
Shehu wrote, “He is alive and well. President Buhari is not magical. He cannot be holidaying in the UK and be in Germany, dead or alive at the same time.
“He is unlike a past president, who was at Ota with Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and attending the Trump inauguration in DC, being in two places at the same time.”
Shortly after the rumor began to spread on Saturday, our correspondent observed that    the President’s family members were unperturbed in Aso Rock.
A member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Saidu Sani-Fago, who represents Daura/Mai’Adua/Sandamu Federal Constituency of Katsina State also dismissed worries over Buhari’s health status, saying that the President was fit.”
The lawmaker spoke further, “Mr. President is fit and sound. He is taking a 10-day vacation and he wants to seize the opportunity to see his doctors.
“This is normal. He did it last year.”
Similarly, pan-northern socio-political organisation, the Arewa Consultative Forum, said President Buhari is a mortal like every other Nigerian and liable to fall ill.
According to the National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Muhammadu Ibrahim, there  is nothing wrong if the President falls ill.
The ACF spokesman said, “President Muhammadu Buhari is human. He has taken his annual leave and travelled to the United Kingdom for medical check up. ACF wishes him well. ACF calls on Nigerians to support the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.”
In the same vein, the Muslim Rights Concern has advised Nigerians not to panic. Responding to an inquiry by NIGERIANSPARROT, the MURIC Director, Prof. Ishaq Akintola, stated it was natural to feel concerned about the President’s health.
“But that is nothing to worry about. Many at his age cannot even walk properly, speak clearly or see very well. Every man’s life is in the hands of Allah, including those of presidents, governors, ministers and ordinary citizens. Allah knows those who will die soon and those who will live long.”
“So, how do we know when it is someone’s turn? Only Allah knows that. People are expressing fear about the President’s health because they have little faith. They know very little about the ways of Almighty Allah,” he said.
Akintola, who pointed out that sudden death among the young and healthy in the country was common, said, “Don’t we have Nigerians who have been sick for the past 40 years but are still alive and working? It is about management and one’s turn. It is about faith. Let’s stop the pessimism. Healthy people drop dead without explanations while people who are sick keep hanging on although we are expecting the worst.”
According to him, Buhari can only die at his apportioned time.
“He won’t live one minute longer than Allah gave him. But, mind you, neither will he die one minute earlier. No matter how many death wishes and death wish advertisements,” the Muslim scholar said.
He noted further that the President had lived a fulfilled life.

Well, A Senior pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, has instructed his security officers to kill any Fulani herdsman that they find around him or his church premises.

Suleiman who had a running battle with Kaduna state governor, Nasir El Rufai, after the governor gave an order that churches in his state must obtain license from the state before they can preach (read here) told his congregation while preaching last Sunday January 15th, that someone called him to intimate him that there is an alleged plan to send some Fulani herdsmen to kill him.

He says he has instructed his security officers to kill any herdsmen seen around him or around his church premises.,see what he wrote below,

"Somebody called me and told me that there is a plan to send Fulani herdsmen after you and I said ok and the person said I should be careful and I said careful of what. He said the herdsmen are just going to run into the road like herdsmen and begin to cause confusion and while your security men clear them and you come out, they will open fire. I said okay. After about a week, he called me and said please, if you don't do that, they might bring them to come around church premises. I said its okay. “250th Goal Means A Hell Of A Lot” – Record-Breaking Rooney Says

Wayne Rooney became Manchester United’s record scorer when he netted his 250th goal for the English giants in a 1-1 draw at Stoke on Saturday, saying the landmark meant “a hell of a lot.”
Rooney equalised in the fourth minute of stoppage time to break fellow England great Bobby Charlton’s United record of 249 goals.
The 31-year-old forward, making his 546th United appearance, surpassed 1966 World Cup-winner Charlton’s record in style when he bent a free-kick past Stoke goalkeeper Lee Grant into the top corner of the net at the Britannia Stadium.
His latest United goal came a fortnight after Rooney, who succeeded Charlton as England’s record goal-scorer in 2015, equalled the former midfielder’s United mark during an FA Cup tie against second-tier Reading.
“It means a hell of a lot,” Rooney, who joined United from Everton in 2004, said afterwards.
“It is a great honour and I am very proud,” added the Liverpool-born Rooney, who made his name as an out-and-out striker but has been deployed lately as an attacking midfielder.
“It is difficult at the minute to be over-pleased because of the result but in the grand scheme it is huge honour. It is not something I expected when I joined. As I said before, I am proud and I hope there is more to come.
“The players who have played for this club have been world class. I am proud to play for this club. To be all-time goalscorer is a huge honour.”
Rooney’s goal could yet proved important in the context of United’s season, with Jose Mourinho’s men battling to break into the top four and bring Champions League football back to Old Trafford next season.
“It could be vital come the end of the season,” said Rooney of a draw against a Stoke side managed by former United striker Mark Hughes.
“It is not nice to lose and it looked like being the case. But we got a point that could be vital. There is a long way to go. A lot can happen. We have to keep picking up points.”

See! Prostitute Declared Wanted After Infecting 500 Men With HIV In Zamfara

Image result for nigerians most wanted prostritude in zamfara state
A woman is now on the run after allegedly infecting no fewer than 500 men with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in Zamfara State.

The woman, said to be a prostitute, is reported to have hailed from a state in the southern part of the country.

Already, the state’s Sharia police has mounted a manhunt for the fleeing sex worker.

She was said to have moved to Gusau, the state capital, in search of greener pastures before opening a sex shop in her rented apartment in a neighbourhood along Igbo Road.

According to reports, the woman gave the deadly virus to a good number of her customers, among
whom are some prominent persons in the state, during the spell of her sex trade.

Nigeria Tribune reports that a source said under the condition of anonymity that things took a bad turn for the woman after she engaged in an open fight with a customer who suddenly accused her of carrying the deadly virus and spreading it to her customers.

Her sudden disappearance from the area, it was learnt, convinced many residents of the truth in the HIV allegation. Her whereabouts are said to still be unknown.

The source disclosed that some of the prominent persons infected had been placed on antiretroviral drugs by their physicians with others having their conditions managed at various health centres in the state.

When contacted, the chairman of the state’s Shari’ah monitoring group known as Hisbah, Dr Atiku Balarabe Zawiyya, said his group was aware of the development and confirmed the disappearance of the suspect after his men stormed her residence to arrest her.

Zawiyya said his group would continue to fight against social decay and moral degradation.

Tevez: I know Messi's next club

Tevez: I know Messi's next clubCarlos Tevez is confident Lionel Messi will commit his future to Barcelona, with Newell’s Old Boys the only side that could lure him away from Camp Nou.
The Argentine superstar has made no secret of his desire to head home at some stage, having spent his entire professional career to date in Catalonia.
Messi is Batman - Sampaoli
Messi was on Newell’s books as a youngster, but was snapped up by Barca in 2001 while still in his teens.
He has gone on to become one of the finest players on the planet, with his legacy as an all-time great already safely cemented.
His future is, however, generating plenty of speculation at the moment, with no extension agreed to a contract that is due to expire in 2018.
Lionel Messi Barcelona 14012017
Barcelona have sought to curb the rumours at regular intervals, and Tevez – an international team-mate of Messi’s – remains confident that the 29-year-old will stay put until the time comes to return to his roots.
He said in quotes published by Marca: "The renewal for him, it is not a matter of money, it's more about what his heart tells him.
'Inter not signing Messi'
"It's difficult to have a long relationship such as the one Barcelona and Messi have had, and I don't think he will leave.
"The day he does, I think he it will only be so he can go home to join Newell's Old Boys - but it's a personal decision for him."
Carlos Tevez
While playing down Messi’s interest in lining his pockets, Tevez has recently completed a high-profile switch from Boca Juniors to Shanghai Shenhua.
He is reported to have signed a deal that makes him the highest paid player in world football, but the Argentine insists he has moved to the Chinese Super League for sporting reasons, not financial ones.
'Tevez could return to Boca in 2017'
Tevez added: "I am not saying the amount I will earn because I think it's confidential.
"I love this sport and every time I play I try to do it in the best way.
"It is a very nice challenge for me and what matters is to be able to perform well on the pitch."

Shocking! Kidnapped man shot dead after his family could not raise N3m ransom

35 year old Mahupa Bello, pictured above, was shot dead on Thursday January 18th, after his family failed to pay a ransom of N3 million his kidnappers demanded for his release.

Narrating what happened, Musa Zamzam who is a friend of the deceased, told LIB that Bello who is married with two children, was an apprentice with a Bureau de change company in Abuja.

He resides in Kaduna but comes to Abuja everyday to learn the trade. On the day he was kidnapped, Bello had accompanied two of his friends in their Mercedes Benz E class as they embarked on a journey to Kaduna state. On getting to Jere at about 8pm, they were ambushed by a group of men who thought he was the owner of the Mercedes Benz since he was sitting at the "owners corner". They ordered him to come down and told the other two occupants to continue driving so they can go home and inform his family members that he had been kidnapped.
The kidnappers reached out to his family members with a telephone number that was not hidden. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the phone is owned by one of their victim and this was their practice. The kidnappers asked for a N3 million ransom.
Two of the abductees who are said to be the sons of a Senator, were released by the kidnappers yesterday after allegedly paying a N10 million ransom. They called Bello's brother whose number they had on their phone as the kidnappers had used it to call before. They informed the brother of the deceased that he was shot dead in their presence on Wednesday because they had failed to pay the N3 million ransom. The senator's sons said the kidnappers told them that they shot Bello dead to make the others know that they were in for serious business.
Meanwhile the family of the deceased are waiting for information on where their brother's remains will be dropped by so that he can be given a proper burial.

Nigerian Army & Navy Prepare's To Intervene In Gambia’s Political Crisis (photo)

To protect President Adama Barrow and ensure Yahyah Jammeh keeps to the deadline he was given to leave power, regional troops have entered Gambia and are ready to fight if resistance is encountered.

Troops from Senegal are already in Gambia and making their way to Banjul. The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, has also arrived Gambia as part of the ECOWAS Military intervention in Gambia. However, the NAF disclosed Thursday on their Facebook account that the Nigerian Army and the Navy were getting ready to join other troops in Gambia.

NAF revealed that two NAF C-130 aircraft airlifted troops of the Nigerian Army and men of the Nigerian Navy Special Boat Services to Senegal yesterday. They also went on to share photos as the Nigerian troops got ready to leave for Senegal from where they will enter Gambia.
